Every Christian has a choice – to continuing following God, or to go back to a life of sin and death. Joshua leads the people of Israel in a renewal of their commitment to follow God, and only God.
"Moses: Spokesman of God"
Moses was scared to lead God's people. He knew he couldn't do it. But God had the answer for him, and for us too when we're scared to live for God: I AM, that great and powerful, living and eternal God who sends us, goes with us.
"Faith, Not Doubt"
The Israelites viewed their situation as hopeless. With eyes of faith, they would have known that their God would keep his promises. When we are facing struggles, trust that God, who has saved you, has not forgotten you now, and will keep his promises.
"God Supplies Everything"
As Christians, we trust that God will supply everything we need. In fact, we know that everything we have came from God and is intended to be a blessing to us, for which we thank God.
